Data and website analytics must be the foundation of everyone digital presence. Defined metrics depend on the overall goals of a specific website, but there are some core metrics each website needs to check. This includes the total number of visitors, a metric that measures the success of the website, but also gives insights into the source of visits and what are the main trends about the website. Another important metric is the bounce rate which, if it is high can indicate several things: maybe the content isn’t hitting the right target audience, or the Page load time is too high.
